ROZAN HELP LINE
Overview:
Rozan’s Help Line (RHL) provides counseling support to children, youth and women. The Help Line specifically addresses the following issues: violence against women, child sexual abuse, sexual and reproductive health, and other psychological and emotional concerns.

Ever since Rozan’s foundation, counseling for vulnerable groups especially women, youth and children have been its key strategy. In 2009 it set up its nation-wide telephone counseling service.
For the first 10 years since 2001, the Helpline focused exclusively on youth issues and provided support to over 40,000 young callers on a number issues such as psychosocial issues including family/ relationships problems, self-confidence, anxiety and depression; and reproductive health concerns and pathology. Caller issues, concerns and profile (while ensuring confidentiality) have been documented by the Helpline and are available in the form of reports.(Rozan publication link)
Counseling is offered through one to one, in-person sessions, a toll-free telephone service and through community camps in areas where Rozan has direct outreach programmes. The Help Line also provides support for crisis cases, e.g., survivors of rape and child sexual abuse, including referral for medical support, police, legal and shelter.

Counseling camps:
RHL counselors also provide counseling to women and children by holding counseling camps in
communities.

Referral Services:
Rozan Helpline has an extensive referral system in Peshawar, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jehlum, Hyderabad and Lahore. These linkages are maintained via telephone, email and visits.
