1. Seminars

Children's Program Aangan carries out seminars in schools (on request) that focus on giving age appropriate information about child sexual abuse to teachers. The objective is to provide information on the issue, and to guide the schools on how to develop systems in order to effectively handle cases of sexual abuse. The seminar is a two- or three-hour long session. It involves a presentation and lecture followed by question-and-answers session.

2. Orientations

A two-hour, group-based, highly interactive orientation session on CSA is conducted with teachers. After the orientation, books on body protection developed by Aangan are distributed. These books are: "Its my Body with Tinkoo and Tina" for younger children (4-11 years old) and "Tahaffuz Hamara Haq Hay" (Protection is Our Right) for older children (11-18 years old). The books are distributed so that these teachers can then share this information with children in an age appropriate, child friendly, and culturally sensitive manner.

3. Campaigns (New)

Children's Program Aangan is launching a mass awareness campaign on Body Safety. A 10-minute animated Video CD and a new version of the "Break the Silence!" book are also a part of the campaign. Details are available on the Body Awareness campaign page.
