Hum Apni Dunya Badlein Gaye (We Will Change Our World) (1st Edition 2001 and 2nd Edition 2002)

A detailed manual that serves as a reference tool to help participants develop a deeper understanding of the issues related to the six-day workshop has been prepared and is given to the participants free of cost. This manual is in Urdu and contains detail .definitions and explanations of the concepts covered in the workshop sessions. This book is available to non-participants on request for a nominal charge.

Building Bridges: A Community-Police Initiative (October 1999- March 2001)

This is a project report of the Police-Rozan initiative. It aims to explain the history, rationale, and process of the project and also shares the findings of the evaluation study assessing its impact. It also contains concrete recommendations for further work with the police. The report is available on request at the Rozan premises.

Creating the Context for Change (A Rozan-Police Initiative) (July 2001- June 2004)

It contains the information regarding the community-police collaboration, lobbying for institutionalization of the attitudinal change module in police training, and ongoing trainings of police officers within the time period of July 2001- June 2004.

Mentoring Batch-II (for Police officers 2004-2005)

This is the report of the second batch of the mentoring process conducted in 2004-2005. It aims to explain the history, rationale and process of the mentoring and its basic purpose is to provide information about the mentoring batch-II. It also contain the views of the participants and short projects of Police community collaboration which were designed and implemented by police officers who participated in Mentoring Batch-II.

Newsletter

Police Training Program Rabta newsletter is a platform for police officers who have attended attitudinal change workshops with Rozan during the last seven years. This provides an opportunity for them to share their experiences with each other. This is a forum in which they share their achievements and problems both in their personal and professions lives. This also helps them a feeling to maintain links with each other after attending the workshop.

The Rabta newsletter is published in Urdu every four months. So far, eight issues of the newsletter have been published. Each issue of the newsletter focuses on a certain theme.

The following topics have been covered:

  3. Women, children and police
  4. Police and training
  5. Police and stress
  6. Protection of human rights and the police
  7. The importance of attitudes in police work
  8. Interferences in the affairs of the police department: past, present and future

The newsletter comprises of articles written by police officers, interviews of the police personnel and letters to Rabta team, success stories, poems and jokes, updates of Rabta activities and many more. For the encouragements of the participants a competition often encourage participation, an article writing is held on particular themes and prizes are awarded to the winners.

The dissemination of the Police Training Program Rabta Newsletter is limited only to police personnel who have attended Rozan' training workshops.
