Internship & Learnership Program |
|
|
Rozan regularly offers internship (6 month curriculum) and learnership (3 month curriculum) programs to young students, housewives, and professionals in which the core emphasis is on: - Personal growth and self-awareness
- Building capacity of young students and other members of the community on issues of emotional health, adolescents' reproductive health, gender, and violence.
A curriculum has been designed for interns and learners that includes: - Capacity building on issues using reading meetings, workshops, and discussions.
- Hands-on work with the target community by giving orientations, writing articles, and basic counseling.
- Office work, which includes filing, typing, making arrangements for events, etc.
The curriculum is tailored according to the interest and aptitude of the individual trainee. During the last month of internship the trainee carries out a project on an issue of interest. Past projects include designing an educational game, writing articles, and conducting a theatre performance on the issues.
